Arbor Hills is a swim and tennis, sidewalk community, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Talking Rock, GA and annexed to Jasper, GA – the “First Mountain City”. 

Just one hour North of downtown Atlanta - and convenient to I-575/5/515, I-75, and GA 400,  Arbor Hills has easy access to nearby Atlanta, Chattanooga TN, Lake Lanier, Lake Alatoona, Carter’s Lake, Dahlonega, Helen, pickens county schools, churches, shopping and national parks and wildlife management areas. 

We are located within one of the finest school districts in the state (Click here for schools).  Arbor Hills feeds Jasper Elementary;  Post-elementary students attend Jasper Middle School - which was named a Georgia Title I Distinguished School for achieving AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) for the past three years, and Pickens High School.  There are also many fine private schools conveniently located nearby. 

The neighborhood has an active homeowners association and is very family oriented.  The home owners association sponsors several neighborhood events annually, including our summer luau, neighborhood garage sale, and neighborhood cleanups.  There are plenty of opportunities to participate on neighborhood committees (social, beautification, and crimewatch).  This website maintains a sometimes lively but open discussion about neighborhood issues, and the HOA also publishes a regular newsletter and holds regular neighborhood meetings.
